Plain-language policies for the HorizonGrid website, devices, and mobile app. Written to be read — not to be hidden.

§ 01 · Privacy

We collect only what a controller needs to do its job — and nothing we can sell.

What we collect

  • Account details — your name, phone number, and email when you register a device or request a quote.
  • Device telemetry — voltage, current, motor status, mode, and event logs, used to power the app and alerts.
  • Basic usage data — app version, crash reports, and connection diagnostics to keep things working.

How we use it

Your data runs your devices: it drives the live control screen, sends protection alerts, and keeps event history for your own troubleshooting. We use aggregate, de-identified trends to improve firmware and protection logic.

What we never do

  • We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
  • We do not require a SIM or share data with mobile carriers from the field.
  • We do not show third-party advertising in the app.

Your choices

You can ask us to export or delete your account and device history at any time by writing to support@horizongrid.in. Deleting your account removes your cloud history; locally cached data clears when you uninstall the app.

§ 02 · Terms of use

Use the hardware as designed, and it will protect your motor for years.

Using our products

HorizonGrid controllers, hubs, and the mobile app are sold for installation and operation by qualified electricians on three-phase agricultural and light-industrial supplies within their rated limits. Always have a licensed electrician wire and commission the device.

Warranty

Devices carry a two-year on-site warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover damage from incorrect wiring, supply faults beyond rated limits, water ingress outside the rated enclosure, lightning, or unauthorised modification. Register your product in the app to activate cover.

Liability

Our protection features — dry-run, overload, under/over voltage, and phase-failure cut-off — are designed to reduce risk, not eliminate it. HorizonGrid is not liable for crop loss, downtime, or consequential damage arising from supply conditions, network outages, or use outside the product's rated specification.

Service & availability

Remote control and cloud features depend on a working Wi-Fi connection at the device and on the internet at your phone. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and may update firmware and the app to keep devices secure.

This page is a plain-language summary for everyday reference and is not a substitute for the full purchase agreement supplied with your device. Where they differ, the signed purchase agreement governs.
